Media Partner & Denim resource
Longtime friend of the competition and lifelong denim lover Thomas Stege Bojer (aka Denimhunters) is an inexhaustible resource for denimlovers. Whether you are stepping into your first pair of raws or your fiftieth, there’s something on his site for everybody.
You’ll find interviews with much-loved makers and wearers, deep dives into denim construction, and, of course, the Denimhunters podcast (a favourite among enthusiasts). Bryan will be appearing regularly on the podcast to discuss all things related to the Indigo Invitational and the world of denim, so be sure to listen and subscribe.
The Denimhunters A-Z denim encyclopedia covers everything from arcuates to zippers. Feel like you’re out of your depth in conversations with other enthusiasts? The encyclopedia will get you up to speed.
Denimhunters has recently launched its Well-Made Essentials series of buying guides. If you’re looking for a full kit of rugged menswear that’s made of the right stuff, in the right way, and for the right reasons, this is where to start.
Thomas and Bryan regularly collaborate to produce articles about the Indigo Invitational and its participants. They profile competitors, talk about what the competition is revealing about denim, and bust denim myths.
Loose threads
We want this competition to be an enriching experience for all competitors. The content published under the Loose Threads banner will be aimed at competitors, and especially at those of you who are relatively new to the world of raw denim. Just like you, we’re learning as we go. If you’re a budding enthusiast, these articles will help you feel more comfortable in the scene. If you’re an old hand at the fade game, we hope you’ll enjoy these new takes on old themes.
If you have an idea or a topic you’d like to see us explore, or if you’d like to contribute an article of your own, you can reach us here.
